botox on the brain

well surprise surprise.

who would have though that injecting
a strain of BOTCHULISM into your face
might be a bad idea?

apparently, scientists are conducting
studies that show Botox may be spreading
beyond the injection site...
and possibly to the brain.

what happened to aging gracefully?

and i think it's hilarious that the
tagline for Botox is
"it's all about freedom of expression!"

is it really now? the most expressionless
faces i have ever seen are those that are Botox-ed.
especially the actresses - oh it's just awful.
furrowed brows showing consternation?
expressive eyes squinting to convey pensiveness?
the subtlety of expression can speak volumes...
HELLO - MERYL STREEP in the Bridges of
Madison County?!

which makes the fact that the wonderful actress
from Sideways, Virginia Madsen
is going to be the new spokeswoman
for the stuff.

as an actress, shouldn't you want
to protect your ability for facial expression?
isn't that part of your livelihood?
it just makes no sense to me.

maybe i'll change my tune as I get older.
i doubt it though. even now, the tiny wrinkles
i have show that i've laughed and smiled
alot in life. that can't be a bad look.
